Check In & Out

Our reception is located at the property through the main front doors which can be found at 16 Jamaica Street, Liverpool, L1 0AF. Check in is from 3pm and check out is 11am. We have staff based on site 24 hours a day if you need anything.

Refundable Security Deposit 

A security deposit/pre-authorisation of £20 per room is required upon check in. The deposit is refunded automatically after checkout as long as there are no charges to your room from the in-room minibar or the restaurant & bar onsite and the T&Cs signed upon arrival have not been breached. This also secures against any damages that may occur in your room during your stay. We cannot accept cash deposits under any terms or circumstances.

The pre-authorisation must be placed on debit or credit card (Visa or Mastercards are preferable) as it can take 3-15 working days for the funds to be released back to you. Using an internet bank loading card such as a Monzo, Revolut or Starling etc takes much longer for the funds to be released (anywhere from 30-90 working days), therefore we do not recommend using such cards for this transaction.

You must have a physical card that can be inserted into the machine for chip and pin. If no physical card is present and you wish to use a contactless method of payment, this will be taken as a sale and the amount increases to £50. This amount will be refunded after departure if no charges are made to the room.

Liverpool ABID

A mandatory charge of £2.00 plus VAT at the prevailing rate is charged for every night of the stay. This charge is administered by the Hotel and passed in full to the Liverpool BID Company.

Guest Identification

The lead booker is required to show photo identification and the credit/debit card they used to make the reservation with upon check-in. All other guests in the rooms are to give their names in line with the fire policy. Please note that all special requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. 

Cancellation & No Show Policy

If cancelled, modified or in the case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged if you have selected our non-refundable rate. If you have booked on our standard rate, there will be no charges if you cancel within 24hours of your arrival, in the case of a no show the total price of the reservation will be charged due to not being notified in advance.

Late Check Out

We will always endeavour to provide our guests with a late check out if one is requested however this cannot always be guaranteed. Please check with the team prior to arrival or whilst in-house and we will see if your request/terms can be accommodated. On the day late check out will be charged at £20 per hour.

Noise Pollution Policy

Any breaking of the house rules or noise complaints may result in additional charges being made or your security deposit being retained.

Smoking & Illegal Activity

Our hotels are strictly non-smoking. Any guests who are found to be smoking, or any evidence of smoking in the rooms will result in the security deposit being retained. We do not tolerate any kind of illegal activity, including the use of drugs and other substances on our property. This also includes the use of Nitrous Oxide canisters which are illegal under the Psychoactive Substances Act of 2016. If we find any indication of this kind of activity you will be removed from the premises. The full security deposit will be retained and the police will be contacted.

Health & Safety

Guest bringing their own chargers, electrical hair appliances, grooming appliances etc please make sure your equipment is in good working order before using our outlets.

Extra Guests

If any extra guests are found in the rooms other than the number that have booked and paid to stay then the full amount of the security deposit will be retained.

CCTV 24hr Monitoring

We have 24hr security which covers communal areas, main doors & corridors. Between the hours of 10pm & 8am we have hourly security checks to all floors within the building.
